Hi. I'm new to the forum and want to post a topic about "Hardware Security Checks" falling short on my Ubuntu OS. Seems that there's a long list of adjustments I need to make likely in the bios, but don't know where to start. Trouble is that for, whatever reason the forums won't let me post a topic. Can you point me in the right direction?

You will need to list your system specs, at the very least your motherboard. I suspect most of the settings you will need will fall under advanced settings. You can start by looking for the acronyms "IMEMM" for example. Beyond that I couldn't really say, my boards are all 5+ years old and have a different BIOS layout to newer boards.
There may be others on the forums that are better informed regarding security settings.

My motherboard is a ASRock B760M Pro RS/D4. It uses a 12th Gen IntelĀ® Core??i9-12900KF ? 24 CPU with 64 GB of ram with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX??4070 graphics card.

Sorry to bump the thread, but it's been awhile. Can you tell me who would be better suited for adjusting the bios? I want my computer as secure as possible.

I am afraid I can't help much personally. You could try opening a support ticket with ASRock and asking them directly: https://tw.asrock.com/events/tsd.asp" rel="nofollow - Here

Already done. The reply was "ASRock does not have any driver, bios nor support for any LINUX version" despite that Ubuntu works OK with my motherboard.
I replied "What about the other stuff that was listed? The settings that could be used to maximize security?" in which they haven't gotten back to me yet.
In the meantime do you know anyone on the forums that would know what to do. I apologize if i'm being paranoid, but I just wanna be sure security wise.
