Hi,

B550M Pro4 board with Ryzen 5 5600GT. BIOS 3.40. Running Fedora 42.
I have a DVD writer connected to an IDE to SATA adapter.
Problem is that the BIOS polls that port several times a day and 2-3 times at start. Any way to disable that without unplugging the writer ?

The proper behavior would be not to poll the drive but wait for a signal that a disk has been inserted. That's the way it always worked on my old Asrock Fatal1ty Killer.

```
