I Recently patched to BIOS 3.1 which contained new AGESA Microcode. As far as i remeber i used a Windows Tool to flash the Bios. (There is no Windows tool download anymore)
Now i have a sh*t ton of problems: a) in games my frames got cut in half (because of the microcode) b) i cant flash any bios version anymore even the newest 3.2 instant flash tells me "invalid file". i use the file provided by asrock on their homepage. the zip file says its a "rom" but the file itself doesnt so im confused. do i need to convert it to a rom file first?
how can i upgrade my bios to 3.2?
PS: i hope amd fixes the microcode problem because a ton of people are reporting that the new agesa microcode causes a sh*t ton of problems

I just did it from 3.10 to 3.20 with instant flash without problems. Just extract the file, copy to a usb 2 with fat32 format and use instant flash, i always use a back usb port for do it and 0 problems.
With bios 3.10 my system random hang with a black screen with a post code 00, this never happend with 2.0, so i updated to 3.20.

the problem was my usb stick. some sectors are defective, and the file was saved on them.

You shouldnt have updated. the new bios version cuts your cpu power by about 30-50% because of the new agesa version. its beta. theres already a ton of threads about this on reddit but it looks like amd doesnt care that much before zen 2 launch so i have to deal with a sh*tty system and buy intel next time again.
