Hello everyone.
ASROCK B850 Riptide WiFi motherboard
With the default BIOS 3.50, the latest W11 and R7 9700x, the chipset heats up to almost 70 degrees Celsius... It doesn't depend on the load, and the temperature is the same at idle and under tests...
Please tell me if this is a defect or normal?
Thank you.

Could you describe what was the root cause?

The chipset starts to overheat when using the M2_3 and M2_4 drive slots. The solution is a 20 x 40 x 0.8 mm copper plate installed with thermal paste in place of the chipset heatsink's standard thermal interface.
