Hello, I have two questions regarding the B850M Steel Legend WiFi:

1)Where is the Vertical M.2 Socket (Key E), for type 2230 WiFi module? I cannot find this socket labelled in the manual or diagram? Is it the same socket used for the Wifi 7 module behind the IO shroud?

2)What Wifi 7 Module is being used? Is it a Mediatek MT7925?

Hi budgetbirdie.

1. Yes, the socket used for the supplied module is most likely the Key E slot you are looking for.
2. I am afraid I don't know what module is in use on that board as I don't own one.
That said, the https://www.techpowerup.com/review/asrock-b850-steel-legend-wi-fi/" rel="nofollow - review on TechPowerUp lists the MediaTek MT7925B22M Wi-Fi 7
module.
