| B650 pro chipset temperature is probably about normal. In temperature sensors monitoring tool it shows about 70c. I m checked the chipset radiator by touch - it s really hot and i think correspond to sensors indication. I m afraid the temp is too high. Is it normal or i should add some cooling system in that case? |

Try checking your temps with "ASRock Motherboard Utility ver:4.1.11" from your motherboard downloads page. It's not uncommon for 3rd party temp monitors to misread sensors. Temp spikes around 70c for the PCH are perfectly fine but if this is idle temps then it's a bit on the high side. If your case is cramped or doesn't have enough airflow you may want to look at getting some airflow over the PCH heatsink. While gaming or running the system under heavy load 70c is perfectly fine. It's only once temps start creeping past 80c that you may have an issue. Check with the motherboard's utility from your product page or, you can try Ryzen Master to check temps. 70c would be too hot to keep your finger on. -------------
