Hi does anyone know of an HDMI card, that will fit the P5B-DE and allow audio and video output?? It seems that most cards these days don't take the SPDIF from the motherboard. Nvidia seem to work well with Linux, I'm currently using Mint. Thanks loads Martin |

Any AMD HD4xxx or newer, or nVidia 4xx or newer. I recommend You AMD HD5450/R7 240 as a cheep buy. Thanks for the info, I've now got a Geforce GT 720. The problem is now that it only able to run at 1024x768 and no sound!!! I suspect it is more to do with my Linux Mint setup, but if anyone can help again, that would be topps!!!! Thanks loads Martin |

OK, I've had to install the Nvidia driver for Linux, now the sound and resolution are OK. I thought that Linux had got past all that Windows-like behaviour!!!!! Is there any thing else that I should have done??? Thanks Martin |

I'm not into Linux, so I can't help much, but drivers are a must on any platform.
