This RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) Desktop Memory Model CMW64GX4M4A2666C16

This memory, in the QVL didn't work with ASRock X399 Taichi sTR4 AMD X399 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX AMD Motherboard and AMD 2nd Gen Ryzen Threadripper 2950X, 16-Core, 32-Thread, 4.4 GHz Max Boost (3.5 GHz Base), Socket sTR4 180W.
3 chips showed single channel, and 4 would not POST.
RMA'd, installed G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C14D-32GTZR and she fired up first time. Quad channel, all modules recognized.
More expensive, but I spent hours farting around, reseating CPU, etc. WORTH IT
------------- ASRock X399 Taichi sTR4 AMD X399;6xTeam Group T-FORCE DELTA S RGB SSD 2.5" 1TB SATA III; AMD 2nd Gen Ryzen Threadripper 2950X; 2xG.SKILL TridentZ RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)-all that fits

As always, MONEY TALKS. Buying better spec'd RAM from an arguably better vendor made the difference, IMHO. Now I can build my dev/VM boxen! If I can only figure out how to do RAID0 on the 2.5's (not the NVMEs) in the BIOS instead of OS... hmmm... Already posted...
