Subject: DDR speed ASRock X470 Gaming K4

hey after the new bios update i have problems to set the ddr ram speed on my ASRock X470 Gaming K4 to 3200
its now on 2400 even when I set it to 3200 in the bios menu
on the previos update i got no problems to set to the correct speed

what can I do ?

Clear CMOS first. Even a couple if times.

If that doesn't help, revert to older BIOS.

clear cmos means remoing the battery for some time right ?

And jumpering the CLRCMOS Jumper if so equipped.

It's covered in the manual.

okay I the problem is I dont found a jumper cap, I checked the box and didnt found it there, do you now where to get on of these ?

Many stores/shops sell jumpers. Off an old MB laying around. Friend. If you even have an old rotational HDD, it may have a jumper or two on it.

IDE of course. Even an IDE CD/DVD drive. One that req'd Master/Slave to be set.
