Most of the time the system boots up quickly and without a problem. But occasionally, when I hit the power button only the case fans turn on and the system doesn't even go to POST. I can usually clear the problem by disconnecting/reconnecting the power several time and then all is well.

I've Googled this and have seen similar complaints but have yet to find a solution. Is this something I can address or do I have faulty MB?
