z270 taichi ram samsung i bought cpu cooler and When I booted up with NEW air cpu cooler, I heard a twice spark from the cpu side and computer was automatically turned off. I checked each parts on the second computer. only motherboard is dead. ----Symptoms----- If i do not press the power button, When power is connected, computer will automatically start booting... and show 00 code and immediately turn off There is no response after pressing the power button ----Things I've done----- I took the ram and inserted it, I reset the cmos by removing the batteries. I've checked to see if there are any burnt parts, but I can not see anything. But the symptoms are still the same RMA period is over. Is there any solution? ........ help me please |

Pull the board from the case and check the underside for shorts. Examine the area around where the CPU cooler mounted for any sign of physical damage both on the front and back of the board. It sounds like something shorted, if you are lucky the board's built in protections kicked in and saved it but if not, the board is likely dead and needs to be replaced/repaired. Repairing a board typically requires significant skill and knowledge, not something many attempt and typically costly (labor intensive). Good luck -------------
