i am trying to flash to the latest bios - 5.80 but when i try using instant flash it doesn't see the 5.80 bios. it does see 3.4, 4.3, 4.6 and 4.7.

i am using 4.70 at the moment and using the AllIn1(v19.10.08_19H1_WHQL) driver.

do i need to flash all of the versions before i can flash 5.80 or can i just go straight to 5.80

thank you

If your bios is currently flashed to 4.7, you should be able to flash to 5.8. You just have to make sure you have at least 3.4 (the "bridge" bios). If that's true, you should be able to flash to anything higher than that so far.

thanks for your help. i downloaded all the bios. placed 4.9, 5.0, 5.1, 5.4, 5.7 and 5.8.

5.7 and 5.8 are not showing up in the instant flash ?

does my board not support anything after 5.4 ?

It could be that the website is wrong. My AB350 has similar bios revisions and there was an additional bridge bios at 5.3. I would try flashing to 5.4 then trying again.

The info on the web page is wrong, i mean.
The other boards usually first must be updated to AMD AGESA 1.0.0.6.
So for this board first an update to 5.40 must be done before 5.70 or 5.80.
What CPU is used?
5.80 is for Zen2 and in beta state!

If you are using a Zen or Zen+ (1000 or 2000) CPU, the newest Bios to be used is 5.40!
