Asrock Z270 taichi could not discover a SATA SSD in BIOS and OS. It has the latest BIOS. checked in legacy and UEFI mode. Tried all the SATA connected on-board.

What model is the SATA SSD ?

Have you tried all 10 SATA ports?
Also please try to change another SATA cable and SATA power cable.
