I just recently got a Taichi Ultimate x470 and I would like to know if it's normal for the board to flash a bunch of codes for the first 10 seconds after pressing the power button? It has no problem posting. Within 10 seconds it shows C0, 51, 54, 7A 36, 07, 62, 99, 98, 9C, 02 super quickly. There's probably more but that's all I can recognize. Anyway is this normal?

I'm using:
TEAMGROUP T-Force Dark Pro DDR4 16GB KIT (2 x 8GB) 3200MHz
Ryzen 2700x
XPG GAMMIX 1TB S11 Pro 3D NAND PCIe NVMe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 SSD
EVGA - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6 GB FTW+

its normal it test everything and runs down a check list if the test fails it means it had problems with that particular test and the code means a certain hardware

Yes, this is normal. The debug display shows a code for every step of the POST (Power On Self Test) process. If there is a problem the code for the particular test that failed will remain "frozen" on the display. Checking what the code is for helps diagnose the issue. There is only a problem if the a code doesn't clear

Thanks a lot! I've been using a 3rd gen i7 for a long time. I have no idea as to what's considered normal. Well, now I know. I just hope my brother's 3700x works well with the x370 Fatality pro gaming board I gave him.
