Hi there,

A-Tuning's temperature(Tctl) deviates widely from Ryzen Master's, so the fan of Wraith
Prism growls accordingly on loaded status. Pretty much annoying.

I've attached the screen shot of Ryzen Master and HWiNFO64 instead on thermally stable
situation.

HWiNFO64 shows two temperatures, CPU(Tctl/Tdie) and CPU. These two are equal to the
options on Fan-Tanstic Tuning, I guess. Both change almost in the same over a range of
10 degree, while Ryzen Master's CPU temperature keeps 40 degree within plus or minus
1 degree all this time.
I've checked to see if all these three temperatures go up beyond 90 degree by OCCT
loading.

I don't see any relation to these temperature deviations on idle status, neither on
CPU load nor on my wattmeter. This phenomenon was not altered by the latest BIOS
update.

My questions are below.

Is this a normal behaviour, a sensor malfunction or an unfixed bug?
Can x470 taichi modulate CPU fan on Ryzen Master's temperature? (in the future, maybe)
How can I try constant speed for fan rotation on x470 taichi?

Regards,

Hello again,

I've attached the screen shot of medium load status during H.265 encoding by
Handbrake. CPU load and power consumption are fairly high but don't reach 100%.

This is the typical fan growling situation. CPU temperature is 76-80 deg on Ryzen
Master all this time. The deviation of Tctl, which I've shown on idle status in my
last post, is kept on this higher CPU load.

CPU fan rotation (pink chart) shows good respondency to Tctl (black chart). However,
Tctl appears to be irrelevant to CPU Package Power (blue chart). That is electrically
and thermally impossible.

This mismatch results in fan rotation speed going up unnecessarily to nearly 3,000 rpm
and down rapidly. This is what I call "growling". 37 times in 559 seconds, it seems
somewhat periodic.

I want to control my CPU fan, like I calm down my stupid dog. So I suggest fan
rotation speed should be controlled by Ryzen Master's temperature or should be fixed
constant.
