I bought the memory Corsair 16gb 3200 cmk16gx4m2b3200c16, I thought it was compatible with my Asrock x470 taichi card but it turned out it turns on 2133 and the maximum I can set it to 3000, how can I set it to run on 3200 or more? it is possible? The bios is updated in the latest version, please can someone guide me please.

Hi, quick assistance to you first, load 2666mhz, without using XMP.

Do not load XMP then change to 2666, it will fail because the timing is wrong for the CPU.

Meaning clear cmos to make sure clear away XMP profile. Then choose 2666mhz and it will run, because/hopefully your stick rom contains the JEDEC default 2666mhz timing.

My system (see my signature) always run perfectly when load 2666mhz without loading XMP.

So this is the preliminary quick and easy fix/band-aid.

I know you are 3200mhz, but you can also try my 2933mhz timing

14,15,15,15,32,52,5,7,32,auto,10,10,auto,4,4,440,327,201,14,10,6,3,1,6,6,1,4,4,7

sorry it's layout so bluntly, you'll have to write them down and match them to respective section before attempt.

Best way is to use Thaiphoon burner to read out your ram and show the nanoseconds then export the report into html

then use 1usmus's Dram calculator 1.6.0.2 as of writing and import the ram html report and perform calculations to get new timings.

results are reference only, they sometimes needs to be manually up 1 or 2,

a quick way is to copy all timing using v1 and v2 then combine the two of them where the highest value is used/taken.

example, if v1 gives 15 versus v2 give 16, then use 16 from v2. Something along this way, in short use the highest timing, usually safeest and easiest to boot,

last in the future if have time when slowly experiment reducing timing to gain performance.
