Hello,

I have an A320TM-ITX that I cannot get to boot. I've tried various combinations of with and without ram/cpu/ssd installed, and every time I get no response. The monitor picks up no signal from the HDMI output. As far as I can tell, it only acts dead.

CPU: Ryzen 3400G
Ram: Kingston Technology HyperX Impact 32GB 2933MHz DDR4 CL17 SODIMM (Kit of 2) Memory HX429S17IBK2/32
SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series - 500GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V7S500B/AM)
PSU: SilverStone Technology 120W External AC Adapter AD120-STX Power Supply

All of the jumpers are in the default position. I've tried disconnecting the CMOS battery and reconnecting it a minute later, but it makes no difference. There are no troubleshooting instructions in the manual. Can anybody please recommend course of action? I have not yet tried updating the BIOS. I wanted to come here and ask first.

To make things a little more complicated, I'm using it in a passively cooled case, so there are no fans spinning. Also, neither the HDD nor Power lights turn on. I can sometimes see the power light blink for a fraction of a second when I connect the PSU, but that's it. Also, the CPU is generating heat, or at least does/did under some condition.

Thanks.

Is it a completely new build?
Do you know which bios version is on the board?
The Ryzen 3400G is a Picasso CPU which needs Bios version 3.10
With version 1.20 you obviosly need a Raven Ridge CPU for updating the bios.

Yes it is totally new. I have no idea what version of the bios is running because it does not boot when I press the power button or manually close the circuit on the panel header. I'm not sure what do to.

Is there now bios version info somewhere on/in the mainboard box?

For a new build it is always recommended to test the setup without case on the desk. And in the first steps also use a standard cooler with a fan (Ryzen 3400G boxed).

But however, with a Raven Ridge APU like AMD Athlon 200GE a check could be done for the bios version and the update, if required.
And when the board also is not running with the Raven Ridge APU, it would be a problem with the board and/or the RAM.

A local store or computer repair would be helpful to these checks.

Oh, i forget the power supply:
Does the AD120-STX Power Supply work?
Can you measure the voltage (19V)?
