UPD: recreated topic with wrong title

I want HTPC as ASRock GTX1060 but for AM4.

1) ur HTPC A300 doesn't contains dGPU and APU 5 2400g/3400g is not very well for HTPC just as low-level machine.
2) u can upgrade GPU to NVidia 1660 - same price(as 1060), same TDP and better performance.
3) and CPU-socket:
for example I want to use Ryzen 3600 for HTPC:
Ryzen 5 3600 price is $199, 6c/12t, ~65..80W with 20K perf.
Intel i7-8700 price is $360, 6c/12t, ~65W..80W with 15K perf - more worse than R3600 by perf/price: 100 vs 42

it will be top HTPC with user-friendly price.

why ASRock need it?
1) for Intel platform exists many nuc/minipc/htpc devices, u just try to bite small peace of market probably with no success.
2) no nuc/minipc for AMD at all, only ZOTAC is competitor with ancient Ryzen 1400 inside and they have spaceship price.
read any forums with minipc, many people want nuc/minipc/htpc for AMD platform.
Zen2 is good: just compare perf for Ryzen 2600 and 3600: 13.5K vs 20K, +50%
so AMD-HTPC niche is free, u can be a king for it.
3) ASRock price politics is very good for users. u ask price for device with small margin.

(sorry for English, it is not my native)

shortly:

Desktop A300 for AMD/A4:
u can put inside only 2400g/3400g or lower.
but 3400g has not enough CPU perf and not enough GPU perf (720p with low/middle settings for games)

Desktop GTX1060:
can has good CPU perf and good GPU perf but it is only for Intel platform.

totally:
ASRock hasn't platform for A4 with good CPU/GPU perf:
- AMD APU 3400g has 10K perf (4c/8t) with Vega 11 that has 2.7K perf.
- I want HTPC with AMD 3600 that has 20K perf (6c/12t) and NVidia 1660 that has 10.7K perf.
even 1650 (7.9K) or 1650 ti (maybe 9K. we will know it in October) will good too in case of too hot or too noisy. one minus for them that they have 4GB, sometimes is not enough.

The Ryzen 5 3400G is more than powerful enough for a 4K/60 HTPC.

You seem to be asking for something that is more a compact gaming rig than an HTPC. Why don't you consider a mini ITX build instead, like I have in my sig? The ASRock Fatal1ty B350 mITX motherboard is still available, and so is a B450 version. You could use a Ryzen 5 3600 or a Ryzen 7 3700X and a discrete graphics card because mITX motherboards have a x16 PCIe slot. Mini ITX cases can be quite small, depending on the size of your graphics card. My Cooler Master Elite 110 is a compact cube that's big enough for an RX 560, for example.

-------------
ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 ITX P4.90, AMD Ryzen 5 2400G, 2x8GB Corsair CMK16GX4M2A2666C16, 250GB Samsung 960EVO, 500GB Samsung 850EVO, 4TB WD Blue, Windows 10 Pro 64, Corsair SF450, Cooler Master Elite 110

yep, sure
4K/60 for Solitaire?
Witcher3, FHD, lowest preset, 20-30FPS, cry & play, see youtube.
you should not play beautiful games through disgusting picture.

my point that:
Ryzen 3600 is bestbuy (200$).
and NVidia 1660 - bestbuy (220$).
they need to be combined in small case.
totally 600/650$

world has almost same:
https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/zotac-zbox-er51060 (627e)
but Zotac doesn't update CPU, doesn't update GPU
stupid policy: no need any researching - all is done, just change parts.

if I will buy ER51060 - need to change CPU +200$ cuz Ryzen 3600 is 2.4x powerful than Ryzen 1400. and I can live with 1060(FP16=FP32/32), but 1660 - is more powerful(FP16=FP32*2) too.
so its not worth for me as individual customer - 1k$ with CPU replacement that probably void guarantee.

> AMD 3600 - 200$. NVidia 1660 - 220$
this prices for last-mile customers, for OEM prices are lower
so best device can be 600$
> motherboard, case, electronics, power suply - deskmini A300 - 150$
so 600$ is real price with some margin.
ok. ASRock can add more 50$ as margin.

no. shops will add 50$ as margin.
probably ASRock sell to shops for price 500-550$
I really dont know internal prices and contracts between producers and customer shops.

and ASRock has already Deskmini GTX1060
so, no researching/projecting, just change MB and update GPU
