Last year, I bought z370 Fatality itx/ac. It works properly, but recently I found out that this board not compatible with my new graphics card ??Sapphire RX Vega 56 Nitro+. As soon as I insert this GPU into board and power on PC ??system not loading anything. I can hardly enter the BIOS Setup, it may take 20 minutes and many reboots, and if I enter, then after exiting it, troubles repeats again. I tested different Vega cards from different manufacturers ??Sapphire Vega 64, MSI Vega 56, changed RAM, power supply, reset BIOS settings, unplug NVME SSD, but this did not give a positive result. As soon as I insert any Vega card, problems immediately appear. I tried pre-setup BIOS with different options: CMS -Enabled/Disabled, 4g ??Enabled/Disabled. iGPU ??Enabled/Disabled. No matters. But it?™s worth connecting another video card, for example, my GTX1080ti or RX580 Pulse, so everything works fine. On the Internet, I found several owners of the same motherboards, one of them doesn't have such problems, it uses the new BIOS 4.1 and i7 9700K. The others had similar problems, and they eventually use Nvidia cards. In my work, the AMD Vega graphics card is critically important. Initially, the board worked on BIOS firmware P3.1, but after I read that one person is using a new P4.1. I bought board with P3.3 bios and upgraded first to 4.0. Vega also didn't work on it and I had to upgrade to 4.1.

I have found over time Nvidia cards work best with Intel systems. I had too many issues with AMD graphics on Intel. Currently using a GTX2070

AMD cards work perfect with 8700K on another board. I'm currently using a GTX1080ti but for Mojave hackintosh i need Vega.

Mr.Lee you are not alone!
I have similar build and problem like u have. I tried RX Vega by Asus and it not worked with z390 itx, i returned it to seller and he showed me that this card works fine on another motherboard. I?™m using 1070ti now, but wanna find issue with Vega.
