Hi there. I have a Taichi x470 and have been using the asrock polychrome rgb led software for quite some time. All of a sudden one day it just stopped working. I currently have version 1.0.60 installed.

When I try to open it, I get the error: Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000.

sometimes I get different error codes when I try to open it. For example this one: Access violation at address 00622674 in module 'AsrPolychromeRGB.exe'. Read of address FFFFFFEC.

Sometimes it immediately crashes and won't open at all.

Any Suggestions ?? Thanks...

I had the same thing happen to me. In my case, it wasn't playing nice with Corsair's iCue software.

I figured it out.

when running my task manager, in the background tasks there was a task called "lighting services"..... when I ended it... the asrock polychrome software worked without any error.

Along with the Asrock polychrome software, I also use G.skill trident lighting control, Cooler master rgb control. It appears that one of them may be conflicting with the asrock software working.

When I open up my other lighting controls, no task called "lighting services" seems to appear now... but if you experience a similar issue... scroll the background processes in your task manager, and look for something that may relate to another rgb led lighting control, and try to end it. It may solve your issue also.
