Gotta say, it's awesome to have a debug display on the MB. What's not awesome is that the codes are nowhere to be found.
Every single code I've seen is not in the manual, and the online FAQ only gives vague info. The entire point of a debug display is to tell you what's wrong. So how about a detailed and COMPLETE listing of the codes?
So yeah, after an evening of gaming my board shows 30 on the Dr. Debug display. Everything still running, so I have no idea if this is bad or what.

30 - Reserved for ASL https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=263610.0
Don't worry about the other vendor. These are AMI bios debug codes.
The debug display is showing codes indicating the progress of the bios startup or different states, sleep states, only some codes are real error codes.
30 seams to be a try to set a sleep state.
ASL status codes appear to be about sleep states. ACPI/ASL Checkpoints: 01 - System is entering S1 sleep state 02 - System is entering S2 sleep state 03 - System is entering S3 sleep state 04 - System is entering S4 sleep state 05 - System is entering S5 sleep state 10 - System is waking up from the S1 sleep state 20 - System is waking up from the S2 sleep state 30 - System is waking up from the S3 sleep state 40 - System is waking up from the S4 sleep state AC - System has transitioned into ACPI mode. Interrupt controller is in APIC mode AA - System has transitioned into ACPI mode. Interrupt controller is in APIC mode
What did the display show before the evening of gaming? Did you change the settings for power save in the bios or windows?
Is "Turn on fast startup" on windows shutdown activated? If yes, follow the steps as below to uncheck the "Turn on fast startup" under windows.
Step 1. Open the Power Option item in control panel. Step 2. Click the Choose what the power button do link. Step 3. Click Change settings that are currently unavailable. Step 4. Clear the Turn on fast startup (recommend) check box. Step 5. Click Save changes.

Thanks, I do have it set to go to sleep after 30 minutes so I guess that's what it was telling me.
I have a case with front and side glass panels, and it sits right next to me. Normally the debug display is not showing anything. If it does it's bright enough I notice it pretty quickly.
Not sure why it needs to throw a code to tell me it came out of sleep, but whatever.

So you disabled the debug display already in the bios, but the ASL is shown anyway?
