Greetings, I am trying to get memory for my new X399 Taichi motherboard and finding the memory listing very confusing. Seems like most of the memory doesn't even come up when I do a google search. I have found one set that seems to show up and meets those specifications that I would like bt wanted to check and make sure that I am getting something that will work.
I see that the following memory is listed - Patriot Viper PV416G300C6K but includes the following (11BF2) after the part number in the compatibility list. Can you explain what the additional digits are? I checked the manufacturer site but find no reference.
I am planning on getting 4 memory sticks and setting up my rig with 32Gb of total memory.
Here is the link to the Newegg page - https://www.newegg.com/patriot-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820220977

Don't know what (11BF2) means.
I would go for a quad kit to be sure to get 4 identical sticks. And take a look to the other Taichi X399 thread here.

Can you point me to the thread? I have been looking for the quad kit and can't seem to find it anywhere.

One thread below this, if listed by time: http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=12953&title=x399-taichi
For the Patriot Viper PV416G300C6K, i cannot find a quad kit either. But if you absolutely want this RAM, take two dual channel kits...
