This system has been working fine for a couple of months. Now after a secondary hard drive failure and removal of this drive, Win10 will shutdown but the power wont go off on the PC, it just leaves the fans running after shutdown and i have to hold the on button to turn it off.
Windows 10 works fine, the secondary drive was just holding pictures not part of the OS.
It is on the latest bios 4.20 and i have tried reflashing this, battery out complete reset, Deep sleep (all options)
any suggestions to get this thing to turn off properly please?

Dear Gingerweb,

Thank you for posting your query to ASRock forum.
Regarding your question, kindly try to boot into BIOS by F2/Del button after boot and press the power button to see if the system can shut down.

With thanks,
ASRock TSD

Dear Gingerweb,

Thank you for your confirmation.

Let's try other components that might be causing this.
1. Please install different drivers (VGA, INF, ME) from the link below:
   https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/H310M-HDV/index.asp#Download
2. Please install one RAM to B2 slot.
3. Please try the SSD with OS on different SATA cable and SATA port
4. Kindly try to clean install the operating system.

With thanks,
ASRock TSD

Thanks for the suggestions, i had already done most of these but now the situation is worse!
Only about 1 in 10 times does the bios even find the ssd now (i have cloned the ssd and tried another one too) when it does boot to windows it last about 3 minutes and then the screen goes blank and i have to reboot.

I am using an Itel CPU with no graphics so also using a separate graphics card.

Starting the think there must be a mobo fault now so will call the supplier and see what they say, thanks for your help
