I'm very afraid this is very bad, but I'd like to give it a try nonetheless. I'm getting error codes BCh followed by C0h when I boot the system. C0 apparently means the CPU failed to initialize, while I can't find any information about BCh. These are the relevant specs:

  • ASRock Taichi X399 Bridge BIOS (2.30)
  • AMD ThreadRipper 1900X
  • Corsair AX1000 PSU

Does anybody know what's happening? Do I need to re-seat the CPU or does that not make any difference? Any help is more than appreciated.

I'll continue to update this post with more information later on.

Ok, so I anxiously thought I applied too much pressure to the Corsair H100i v2 liquid cooler but apparently you have to apply a ton of pressure to break the CPU in its socket. This leaves me without a clue as to what is happening. Has anyone ever encountered similar errors?

Found the problem I just had to apply more pressure to the RAM. I knew it was tight, but damn I underestimate it every time.
