Parts are
MB - Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac
CPU - 2400G
Ram G.SKILL F4-3200C16D-16GTZB

When I power it on to check that it will post the CPU fan spins but nothing shows up on the display. I've left it running for a few moments.   It's not spinning up and then back down or anything like it's resetting itself.

I don't see any LED's on the MB flashing to give me a post code.   I'll dig but I don't think I have a chassis speaker. The case I have doesn't have one.   Is that how the post code errors are provided? I don't see post codes listed in the manual

At the moment I'm trying to post outside of the case if that matters for some reason.

I've trid with both Dimm's and every combination of 1 dimm in each slot.

sticker on the MB says it's bios P3.50

I guess my first question is how do I get post codes to figure out what the issue is. Second question is where do I go from here?

I did some more troubleshooting.

I switched to my known good power supply from my daily PC. Corsair 430. No difference

I tracked down an onboard speaker and hooked that up. Still no sound no picture.

I switched to the known working speaker on my daily PC. Still no sound no picture.

I swapped my GPU (1060 6gb) from my daily PC onto the new MB and tried both the DVI and the HDMI ports - still no sound no picture.

I removed all of the ram and booted again. Still no sound no picture

I don't have any other DD4 ram to try and I don't have any other AM4 CPU's to try.

The ram says it works on the ASROCK list, the AMD list and the GSkill list.

I'm not new to PC builds. I was a tech for years and I've built hundreds of PC's.   I'm not sure what is left to try. All of my other builds would post a code to say if there was a CPU issue or a ram issue so my hunch is doa MB but I'll take any suggestions.

I'm having the exact same issue with a benchtop test. Did you ever figure this out?

I RMA'd the board and went with a different one . No issue with that one. I'm not sure if it was a dead board or a compatibility issue as I went with a totally different manufacturer.

I have the same issue. For me, nothing is turned on. No lights. Both the CPU fan and the PSU fans don't spin. Should either fan at least spin a little bit?

I tested the PSU using the paper clip method and the PSU seems to be fine.

Here's the components I use:

Ryzen 5 3600
Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16
WD Black SN750 500GB NvMe
Thermaltake Smart 430W PSU

I've tried using a 4GB ram that I pulled out from a 6-month old Acer PC. I've tried both memory slots and that didn't help.

What could be the problem? If nothing is turned on, is the mothoerboard dead? I just bought it new.
