I have an Asrock x470 Master sli/ac. The memory slots have a tab only on one side and I am having a real problem trying to remove the memory. The tabbed side comes out fine the other side doe not release. What is the trick? thanks, Bj |

Lift the RAM from the released side, that will pop out the latched side. I am not a fan of this slot design either but it hasn't given me any issues or damaged any of my RAM/boards so it does work as it should. -------------

Thanks, I tried that and I ended up with the released side quite away up and the latched side not releasing. I like the 'old' tabbed way, I never had a problem. I'll try it again, it made me a little nervous. thanks for the reply. keef |
