I have an Asrock x470 Master sli/ac. The memory slots have a tab only on one side and I am having a real problem trying to remove the memory. The tabbed side comes out fine the other side doe not release. What is the trick?

thanks, Bj

Lift the RAM from the released side, that will pop out the latched side. I am
not a fan of this slot design either but it hasn't given me any issues or damaged
any of my RAM/boards so it does work as it should.

Thanks, I tried that and I ended up with the released side quite away up and the latched side not releasing. I like the 'old' tabbed way, I never had a problem.

I'll try it again, it made me a little nervous.

thanks for the reply.
