Hi all,

My spec first:
CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 1600
RAM: Kingston 2x8GB DDR4 3000MHz HyperX Predator XMP HX430C15PB3K2/16
MB: ASROCK AB350 PRO4

I want to overclock my ram to 3000 mhz. If I set the XMP Profile to 1.0, which is the 3000 mhz profile, my pc won't boot only go through 3 post cycles and turns down the memory speed back to 2400 MHz. There is an another XMP profile, which is 2666 Mhz, with this profile my pc can boot up but I haven't tested its stability yet. But I bought 3000 mhz ram to use it on 3000 mhz, so I'm very disappointed. And I'm still not sure if the 2666 mhz is stable.

Has anyone ever managed to overclock memory to 3000 mhz on this board? Is it possible?

I have the memory modules in A1 B1 slots. Does it matter? Should I try with A2 B2?

I use 3200 MHz RAM, have the bars in A2 and B2 and it runs fine.
