is this a Best Buy PC or similar prebuilt?
..is this your motherboard?
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450Mac/

maybe list the numbers that are on the motherboard itself with a picture of the motherboard and then we can better help you in finding it if the above link isn't your motherboard

I have the same motherboard and it came with a CyberPower PC build. Not finding it on here is agonizing.

That's a pretty crappy response.

The Model name is already mentioned in this thread which is how I got here to begin with. It labeled as the ASRock B450M Gaming (AM4) and is not listed anywhere on the ASROCK website, it does not show as having any updated bios or drivers from their software, nor does it seem like they even know it exists.

Using software like Speccy or Z-Cpu yields the same results in naming the board.

If the board came in a pre-built PC, you need to go to the source,ie Best buy, cyber power etx, to get the updates for the board. It was made to private label specs , sooooo this forum is not a place to seek the updates.

The issue is that Cyberpower says to update the BIOS through ASRock. ASRock does not have a listing for the B450M Gaming motherboard. This is definitely the name of the board itself as printed on the PCB and through CPUZ and others.

https://support.cyberpowerpc.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013965914-BIOS-Updates

Not sure how to resolve this cyclical conundrum. It is quite similar to the /ac version, but not the same, and, as we all know, this can definitely cause issues...

Thanks, all!

If your still looking, try http://www.cyberpowerinc.com/drivers/£dir=Motherboards/BIOS/Asrock

They list a B450M Gaming CB BIOS 2.20 and a B450M Gaming_v1.50
I'm not sure about your board, but a lot of MB's wont accept a non compatible bios, but if it does and it's wrong...TROUBLE

The more you learn the less you know.

Renerosa,

That MB was for CPP and not directly supported by ASrock. much like OEM/Brownbox boards./..

link doesn't work because for some reason this site changes question mark symbols to an "L" shaped thing .. so

go to:
http://www.cyberpowerinc.com/drivers/" rel="nofollow - http://www.cyberpowerinc.com/drivers/

and then click on "motherboards" and chase it on down to get where you need to go.

For anyone still looking for a solution to this, you can follow the directions in this reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/CYBERPOWERPC/comments/mg3dr2/b450m_gaming_asrock_motherboard_bios_update/" rel="nofollow - https://www.reddit.com/r/CYBERPOWERPC/comments/mg3dr2/b450m_gaming_asrock_motherboard_bios_update/

Quote Download the latest BIOS from Asrock. The current version at this moment is 3.1. I got it from Asrock's site here: https://download.asrock.com/BIOS/AM4/B450Mac" rel="nofollow - https://download.asrock.com/BIOS/AM4/B450Mac (3.10)ROM.zip Unzip it and you should have a file named B45MAC3.10.

Download Flashtools, and extract the files. Hope this link works: https://winraid.level1techs.com/uploads/short-url/va37vhVWHQoiGJhqnfQgkkkKfq0.rar" rel="nofollow - https://winraid.level1techs.com/uploads/short-url/va37vhVWHQoiGJhqnfQgkkkKfq0.rar )

The flashtools download includes the portable Rufus app. Use that to make a bootable FreeDOS USB drive

There are two files that came with the Flashtools download above (flashrom.exe and CWSDPMI.EXE). Copy those two files to the now bootable USB drive.

Copy the ROM file you downloaded from Asrock (in my case it was B45MAC3.10) to the USB drive

You should now have a bootable USB flash drive with FreeDOS on it, as well as the two flashtool files and the BIOS ROM file on it.

Boot into the USB drive

Once FreeDOS loads up, type flashrom -p internal -w B45MAC3.10 (change the "B45MAC3.10" to the name of your BIOS file if it is different)

You now have a de-Cyberpowered motherboard. It will load up as an Asrock board now, and you'll lose the Cyberpower boot up logo. But you will have new features, as well as the ability to make use of the latest AM4 CPUs!!!!!
