Hi ASRock TSD!
We need tools!
MOD tools!
Tools to edit and enhance BIOS/UEFI for AMD and Intel boards!
A good OS tool, not that garbage F-Stream and AXTU!
We need useful tools!
We need them NOW!
Please deliver!
Only as a community we will make ASRock boards better!
There are many good things that are removed from ASRock UEFI's, like on the ASRock 990FX Fatal1ty Professional, we could chose 2 different skins for the UEFI - this option was removed with newer UEFI.
Why?
Second thing to mention, why isn't there any tool to simply change the splash screen logo? I love the Fatal1ty logo and I had to manually mod it into AMI UEFI. It could be so much simpler with a provided genuine ASRock UEFI Tool!
Fan controller, oh boy, it's bad, it's so bad that I don't even use any of the 5 ASRock 4-pin/3-pin fan header, and I just use an additional 5x fan controller by NZXT.
This issue could be tweaked with a UEFI tool too.
F-STREAM/AXTU, oh boy, they are bad, bad bad bad...
There was a good F-Stream, like the "FSTUSetup_HD LED.exe" from 22.9.2011., that made the two 8-segment LED diagnostic show the CPU temperature under the OS!
Why is that not possible? Why can't this be added as an UEFI setting? It's so simple and so great to have it, and why don't we have it in 2015.?
I know ASRock as a company is based on a Hardware base, but Hardware without a good software is just half-good hardware!
At least for the PREMIUM boards, features, software and UEFI tools should be GREAT, not like F-Stream/AXTU!
ASUS is not a better MBO designer, has not a better support, but still gives their user a better and complete software experience!
Nothing has changed since 2010. with the ASRock tools. Even more, the pre-2010 software was better (simple, but it worked better).
Please ASRock TSD/Programming team, You have time, give us tools, let US, USERS, work with You to make the software and firmware better.
I know there are skilled enthusiast out there, there is a great modding community, but we can't do all this on our own.
Work with US, for US.
We are ready for the NEXT step, to enhance all the features and tool. Lets make something new for the 2016.!
Next step is Yours! United we stand!

Ummm, maybe you should have posted when you were in a better mood.
I don't know what others will read that as but to me that sure didn't read anything resembling happy, community, cooperative.
Conversely, more as an indictment instead of curious inquisitiveness.
Hehehe, if I took that attitude with my Boss, well, it wouldn't go over well with her and I'm sure I'd be in need of other employment by days end if I did try.
Better luck next time

If not - I will make a tutorial "HotTo" MOD the AMI UEFI.

Please do as I'm always up for experimenting. PM me when you post it. Not so sure ASRock would make a "Sticky' of it here but worth trying huh?

For now, I'm in a bit hurry with my daily job and XMas sale, so do not expect before January. :)
