Hello , i builded this pc like 5-6 months ago and when i did i was running perfectly fine the XMP , the thing is that after a while i checked it and it was not running it , like it got reseted. Now when i go and change the XMP profile , PC restarts 1 time ,it doesnt get to post screen , it gets restarted by itself immidiately , it doesnt get to post screen and after that it boots normally on the default mhz. My build is the following :

AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Asrock b450m pro4 at P3.50 bios version
GTX 1660ti
600W PSU
G.skill aegis at 3000mhz

manually set to 2866 and see if that sticks ..manually set voltage to 1.35 as well.

I had a 2700x that wouldn't do 3000mhz on some non QVL ram .. upgraded to a 3600x and same memory can run at 3000mhz now.. the 2000 series Ryzen's memory controllers can be picky

try 2400 ... if that works, go up from there. You'll need to upgrade to 3000 series Ryzen and update your bios more than likely to run your RAM at it's rated speed.

If it was my rig, I'd update to latest bios and see if that helps with RAM compatibility regardless of ASRock's "warning".

Im too afraid to go beyond that since the warning exists for a reason , and if something happens ill be unable to do anything at that point. Is there a way to go back to an older version of bios ?

older isn't going to help with ram compatability

Wife's rig ran a 2200g and could not run 4 sticks of ram no matter what the timings .. upgraded to a 3400g and now she can run all 4 of her 3200mhz sticks at 3200 just fine .. I ran a 2700x on an x470 and B350 ASRock mobos .. and I couldn't run 4 sticks at 3200mhz on one ... and like I mentioned, couldn't run som 3000mhz on the other at their rated speeds .. upgraded to a 3700x on my setup and could run my 4 sticks (at that time) at 3200mhz without issue ..and on the other I upgraded to a 3600x and can run the 3000mhz stuff at their rated speeds now .. The memory controller on the 2000 and older series Ryzens can be finicky... as you are experiencing now.

2733 is the most stable one , 2800 booted once , after that one time it just x2 restarts and goes back to default speeds
