Asrock Z390 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ac When I turn off the PC from inside Windows 10, the PC automatically turns off and on in a loop. I must turn it off by holding the on-off button on the cabinet. When I start up again, the PC will not start normally, but the screen asks me to press F1 and continue, or F2 for UEFI/BIOS setup. Then it starts up with Windows again. I have the operating system installed on a Samsung 1 TB NVMe in the M2_2 slot under the heatsink, and a second Samsung 500 GB NVMe drive in the M2_1 slot underside of the motherboard. If I REMOVE the underside Samsung, then the PC works OK. Both drives are NTFS/GPT formatted, In UEFI everything looks OK, boot from Windows boot manager on Samsung 1TB, and then the same Samsung 1TB. Also, the problem is that the PC works correctly without the underside NVMe installed. (The underside drive is empty, but formatted) Do I have to put the 1TB drive with Windows 10 in the underside slot, and the other 500 GB under the upper side slot? And if so, WHY? I have not tested this solution, because I don?™t understand why this should be necessary. I want to keep the main drive under the heatsink.

Thanks for posting your query to the ASRock forum.
When installing 1TB M.2 to underside slot, the result should be the same.
We have one question for you. Does the system always show F1 F2 messages on every boot?
If it does, kindly try to clear the CMOS.
If the clearing CMOS will not work, kindly contact have the motherboard checked by the store where the motherboard was purchased.
