Hi all, as most we are stuck and it team can not come to our health care office so I am at this alone. Our threadripper office computer went out, it does alot and that is why we got a threadripper a few years ago. The original motherboard went dead and so we ordered a ASRock X399 Professional Gaming to put in place. No we arent gamers it is the only X399 for our ATX case we could find in this time. It got delivered and I went to prebuild out of the case and with a new power supply, 850 modular, I put two sticks of ram in, corsair 8gb sticks, plugged in the 24 pin and the 8 pin and the ram lights up, the motherboard color lights up and changes color but when I push the motherboard on button it clicks and the lights go off then after about 5 seconds turns back on. I tried to reseat the threadripper and tried without and same thing. Everything on the bottom of the board is black. No codes at all just dark. I tried other ram and nothing. I pulled another power supply out and same thing.
Any help would be appreciated. We are just trying to keep our field nurses going!

4 pin connected as well? .. what TR chip? What slots do you have the 2 sticks installed? What are you using for the CPU cooler?

oh boy...So I have the new power supply but I just didnt feel good about it. So I ran down to Best Buy and picked up a Corsair 850 and now the board seems to power on properly so far...I am finishing the office build and will let you know how the end goes!
Thanks for the look and suggestions
