1: There is not "onboard" video 2: Your memory probably doesn't have the same timings so they won't run together .. get a matching set or a match to one of the sticks you already have .. or, alternatively .. put one stick in an then manually set ram timings to whatever your slowest stick is and then try to boot with both sticks

Hi ThreeDee, thx for the reply.
Tried the memory trick but no success. Still a bios access freeze. And going over the specs again and I see that the motherboard is supplied with onboard graphics. Also the 2 red lights on the board still burning.
So there is still an issue to resolve.
Regards, Richard

Your 3600 does not have an igpu (integrated graphical processing unit) .. the motherboard has video outputs that only work with "G" series Ryzen processors .. ie .. 2200g, 3400g ...etc
Video outputs does not equate onboard video chip on the motherboard.
I recommend you read the manual for your motherboard

oke,
Managed to enter BIOS after CMOS reset. First off, installed BIOS update to v2.60. Rebooted and entered the BIOS a couple of times to be sure. BIOS detected the proper RAM settings and the NVME-M2. Started installing W10 (rebooted a couple of times), installed latest W10 updates and no issues.
But today wanted to proceed with the installation of additional software and have no BIOS Post again. No Video anymore and USB keyboard detection/respons.
Did the CMOS reset trick again but no result, effect is still the same
Now what??
Any ideas and help appreciated.
Thx all

If you have a GPU with additional power connector(s) from the power supply, make sure they are attached properly. Try pulling them out and putting back all the way, they should click and lock in the sockets. Try booting with a single RAM stick in the rightmost slot (farther away from the CPU socket). It's a shame that not all boards ship with boot code displays, but you can do some troubleshooting with a PC-speaker - https://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia/term/beep-codes

Hi I have the same bios freeze. Did you have any luck finding a solution? After installing an Asrock thunderbolt 3 card, switching Thunderbolt on in the bios, saving changes and reboot my wifi6 card was no-longer recognised. And the USB c audio interface not recognised. I removed graphics cards as per Asrock support ticket recommendation. Also reinstalled the graphics card. Boot back in the M.2 card not recognised cannot boot into Win 10 Pro. Set the bios back to default........ pc no-longer boots. Remove all components, reset cmos and refit one stick of ram, entering bios, Asrock screen but will not respond to any key commands, except tab changes the screen.......so keyboard is recognised. All of the above several times. Finally had a local IT repair shop look at it......... resulting diagnosis a motherboard fault.
