MOB: X570 PHANTOM GAMING 4
CPU: RYZEN 7 3700X
DRAM: OLOy 32GB 288pin DDR4 SDRAM
SSD: Crucial BX500 1 TB SATA III 3D NAND
GPU: not yet installed

MOB powers up, Post Status Checker indicators LEDs "CPU" "DRAM" "VGA" "Storage" on MOB flicker, and go off. According to manual this indicates normal function.

Issue: Not getting POST on video display "Black screen" "NO SIGNAL"

Checks:
1. Removed CMOS battery, and or shorted CMOS pins with unit powered off.
2. Switched out Hemi-cable connecting from MOB to Monitor.
3. Verified Monitor is setup for signal from Hemi input.
4. Verified Monitor and Hemi cable works with another PC.

Come on man ... the 3700x does not have integrated graphics, for that CPU you need a graphics card and connect the vga, hdmi or displayport cable to the graphics card, not to the ports on the motherboard.
? cpu with integrated graphics:
2200g
2400g
3200g
3400g
AND APU Series A

I'm a newbie I admit Didn't think CPU manufactures wouldn't build some graphics capabilities into there CPU's. This is my 2nd PC build and first AMD build still learning allot from folks like you who know this stuff. Appreciate the help, at least this will be posted for other newbies to read. BTW: I like the "Come on man" quote now who does that remind me of? :}

I use that phrase a lot, without wishing to offend my friend, I hope I have been of help, hugs and that you can enjoy your pc.

Read your motherboards manual ... it's a good read!
