motherboard ab350m pro 4 ram oloy 3000 mhz the tried crucial 2666mhz gpu gtx 1060 psu 500w cpu ryzen 5 i just built the system and cant seem to get it to post iv went threw almost every forum i could find with similar motherboard and cpu combos. i swapped the oloy ram for crucial ram iv put in every port took out whole system and tried out side of the case. still nothing threw in a crap gt730 i know works still nothing kind stuck for now im getting no beeps either from the mb speaker. iv waited 10 mins to post in almost every situation i tried. |

| i have no idea since i bought the motherboard maybe a year ago and never hooked it up until not but since its a ryzen 5 1600 it should be supported by all bios |

does your retail box for the ryzen 1600 state in the part number 'AE' or 'AF' if it says says af its actually a 2600 cpu and its possible the 350 board dosnt have 2nd gen e.g. 2000 seris bios p.s. your boards bios chip should have a sticker on it saying what bios version it shipped with ------------- [url=https://valid.x86.fr/jpg250]  [/url]3800X, powercolor reddevil vega64, gskill tridentz3866, taichix370, evga750watt gold |

bought the boaard a year or so ago never ended up using it so it sat until now so its a just a regular ab350m pro4 no dashes or 2.0s or anything |

do youmean its NOT a ab350 'M' ??????? and the normal full size ab350 pro4 in which case (after banging my head against a wall) i can confirm its got a first gen bios and there are 15 later versions of bios ......wow thats a record for an am4 board im sure im quite confident in saying its very likely the bios version is too early to support this cpu you need to install bios version 3.40 and then one of the later ones i suggest v5.00 or v5.10 ------------- [url=https://valid.x86.fr/jpg250] [/url]3800X, powercolor reddevil vega64, gskill tridentz3866, taichix370, evga750watt gold |

here is the link for my board http://www.asrock.com/mb/amd/AB350M%20Pro4/index.asp#BIOS yes the bios is not right for the board didnt know there were 2 different ryzen 5 1600 chips i would have to upgrade bios to p6.40. yes there is a *M* board that has a bios later then version 2.20. This one in the link above the board i said it was every time |

ok my mistake the support-product page i went to didnt have that board listed the only m boards all had bios stopping at 2.20 but yes as with the non-m version yours goes upto version 6.20 but i would recommend staying with 2000 seris bios e.g around version 5xxxx ------------- [url=https://valid.x86.fr/jpg250] [/url]3800X, powercolor reddevil vega64, gskill tridentz3866, taichix370, evga750watt gold |
