Hi guys!

I want to update the BIOs of my Z270 Killer SLI/BR to the last version: 2.30, but there is a bug in the original file.

The file from Asrock download page doesn't recognize the model of my MotherBoard and give this message: "The Bios File does not support this model!!!"

Here is the prove that I'm trying to update the right model:

And here is the error message:

What I already tried:

  • Install from Win 10;

  • Install from Instant Flash;

  • Install from inside the Bios;

  • Install from ASRock APP Shop;

  • BIOS from models Z270 Killer SLI

  • BIOS from models Z270 Killer SLI/ac

  • Rename the firmware rom file;

  • Download the Bios Rom file from different Asrock server;

  • I successful Reinstall the current version of Bios (2.10) using the windows file from Asrock download page, but the problem remained the same. I still can?™t update to new BIOS version;

Some pictures when I tried install directly from my Bios.

Dear RodrigoKazuma,

Thank you for posting your query to the ASRock forum.

Regarding your question about updating the BIOS, we have checked with the "Instant flash," and it can work properly.

Here are some suggestions for you:
Kindly download the following BIOS and insert it to the USB disk.
https://download.asrock.com/BIOS/1151/Z270%20Killer%20SLIBR(2.30)ROM.zip

For the update method, kindly refer to the link below:
https://www.asrock.com/support/BIOSIG.br.asp?cat=BIOS9

If the problem persists, kindly try with a different USB disk/USB ports and try to see if it will work.

*Kindly be noted that if the system works properly, we do not recommend updating BIOS.

With thanks,
ASRock TSD
