Will I be able to swap my R5 2400G with the (imminent) R7 4700G on the A300 (assuming a TDP of 65W)? Will a new BIOS be necessary?

Would certainly make the Desk Mini A300 an even more amazing option for SFF builders...

Potentially a Beta Bios which drops support for Bristol Ridge in favour of Zen 2 Based APUS? Yes please!!

ASRock has posted on another website under an official account that A300 owners are SOL...

But hey, its ok, they are coming out with a replacement you can buy that will be horribly buggy and hardly updated much like the A300!

Sadly, I will probably buy it anyway, of the 20 or so in service that I have purchased, or advised purchase on, running the old 2000 (Zen) series is fine, but the 3000 (Zen+) series APU's is buggy due to old AGESA/modules that ASRock refuses to update despite AMD saying the new AGESA/modules DOES INDEED apply to Zen/Zen+
