Hi!

I have a Z97M Pro4 P2.2 motherboard which does not have an M.2 slot. I am thinking of installing a PCIe M.2 adapter board to gain fast SSDD support but would like to know if the motherboard will be able to boot from it?

I have the latest firmware revision which says it has support for M.2 NVMe and apparently no driver is required for the PCIe M.2 adapter board. I would like some clarification if it will boot from an M.2 adapter before purchase, however, as it's a relatively expensive thing to gamble on.

Thanks!
