Hello
Asrock PRO4 B350 owner with Ryzen 1500X.been using A-tuning app in Windows to OC my CPU and it had been quite stable for a good 3yrs.Until the latest May2020 Windows 10 update.
Now when I apply my OC and voltage, same than before, my PC screen would go black and impossible for me to access Task Manager to kill the app.
i have to hard reset my PC if I want to access Desktop again.
Is OCing in Windows just dead with this new update?I cant seem to find a new revision of A-tuning to match.
any help appreciated

Thanks for sharing the info about the update breaking A-Tuning on your system. If you have not already done so, send a support ticket to ASRock Tech Support: https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp
Tell them what you have shared here, if the issue is wide spread they will likely update the app to support the new windows update.
For the time being, you could apply your overclock manually in the BIOS using the same settings you used in A-Tuner. I always prefer overclocking from the BIOS, it is much more versatile than OS based overclocking. Take a look for some guides on setting up custom P-States etc if you really want to have some fun fine tuning your system so it boosts to your OC when needed but drops down to low, energy efficient clocks when idle or under light load.

thank you for quick reply. I OC both in BIOS or in Windows depending on which PC I am using.
I found it stable and convenient to have A Tuning app in Windows to OC my Gen1 Ryzen chip on this PC. So yes I will contact Asrock Tech support to see if a solution can be provided. I am considering to use Ryzen Master instead

by the way, regarding power consumption. even using A tuning app in Windows, by switching to Windows Power Saver Plan my CPU will go to 1.55ghz and Vcore to 800mv I think on top of my head so I really like Atuning
