I'm having trouble seeing how many PCIE lanes the Z370 ITX Fatal1ty has in total, is it 16 or 20? If I install a NVME M2 PCIE drive like the Adata SX8200 Pro or WD SN750, does that drop the graphics card down from 16x to 8x speeds?

Also second question, since the M2 NVME drive is on the back of the motherboard, is it better to have a heatsink on or off?

Thanks

Dear Jonfitch,

Thanks for posting.

Installing an M.2 will not affect the PCIe slots so the PCIe slot will always provide x16.

If the chassis can fit the M.2 heat sink, please install the heat sink on the M.2 slot.

With thanks,
ASRock TSD
