Hi everyone. I just swapped my son?™s Ryzen 1600 to a 3600 but it just won?™t post. I turn it on and the fan starts but nothing else happens. I put the 1600 back in and everything works again. I?™ve even updated the bios to P5.90. Please please help. Thanks

If you haven't already, with the 1600 in, and the BIOS updated, go into the BIOS, then load defaults, reboot, load back into BIOS, load defaults again, reboot, then power down, unplug power from wall, hit power button to discharge, then do CPU swap, and try again.
Stupid, weird, but SOMETIMES, it works...
Otherwise, you could have a fake 3600 or bad 3600 (both have happened before)

I tried that. But I flashed it back to the 1st bios that was for 3rd gen Ryzen Then it worked. So finally happy. Thanks.

could have been memory training depending on how long you let it sit
I know my first time it was a good 10min, but I have a pretty top end kit in my personal rig
