Forgive my ignorance as it's been 10+ years since I've built a PC, and I don't believe this has been covered in previous posts.

TLDR - should an AM4 Ryzen 3600 work with the mobo out of the box?

I just purchased the mentioned motherboard, and I think it was recently made available in the last month. I have an AMD Ryzen 6 3600 CPU that doesn't want POST to the BIOS. I also have an Athlon 200GE that WILL POST and let me get into the BIOS. At this point, I only have the essentials plugged in for both CPUs:

Memory: GSkill Ripjaws DDR4-3200 1x8GB stick. This module isn't listed as compatible, but the PC will boot while using the Athlon 200GE

CPU Fan
Chassis Fan
Power switch for case (node 202)
Cleared CMOS on mutliple tests.
Looked for BIOS update - there are none.
Tested with multiple PSUs - and both work with the Athlon 200GE, and neither work for the Ryzen CPU. At this point, I believe the CPU is the issue - unless someone can confirm using "non-listed" memory would somehow impact the Ryzen CPU in its ability to POST successfully.

At this point, I'm asking if this board supports the Ryzen 3000 series CPU out of the box - or does it require an older generation CPU in order to update the BIOS? If that is the case, where can I find the BIOS as none are available for this motherboard.

You are a lifesaver. I forgot about this during my testing. I just plugged the GPU in and it worked!
