I was told by tech support that I should send my motherboard in for a new one, but wanted to check first since I'm not convinced yet (not sure the tech guy was either) and it would take some effort and take my computer offline while I wait for the new motherboard.
For several months it started just fine with no problems. Around the time I tried and failed to update a graphics card and also had taken the hard drive out to try to transfer files from another computer, it started boot looping: tries to start for about 30 seconds or so, then keeps recycling. Error code shows 00. It takes hours of playing around with things to get it to start: * Memory slot swapping has sometimes worked, but usually doesn't. * Unplugging and re-plugging everything from the power supply has sometimes worked but also usually doesn't. * Unplugged and investigated CPU: it looks fine and IIRC plugging it back didn't cause it to start up properly. * The only thing that's worked 100% of the time has been unplugging the graphics card, blowing on it and plugging it back in. This has been only 2 times though, so I wouldn't call that statistically significant.
On the rare times after playing around for a long time that it starts up, it cycles through a lot of error codes. Do I need to just turn this in for a new motherboard or could it be a simpler fix?

Ok, guessing I should just send this in for a new motherboard?

If you already have a go ahead from ASRock tech support for an RMA I would take it. Even if it isn't the issue you come out of it knowing your board has been thoroughly checked or replaced

Note an RMA is only good for 30 Days.
