Can anyone tell me how the PCIE lanes are distributed on the Z490 aqua?
It seems like no matter what I do my graphics card wont read at 16x (even when running a bench).
I know the NVME SSDs are likely the culprits but I'm not sure of the actual lane distribution to correct it.
The manual was no help. Does anyone know which (if any) are safe to use with NVME so I can still get 16x out of my card? I'm planning to get a 3090 so will need the extra bandwidth.

Dear Entram,
Thank you for posting your query to the ASRock forum.
Regarding your question, if the PCIe slot is --> Occupied with one graphics card --> single at x16 (PCIE1); --> Occupied with two PCIe devices --> dual at x8 (PCIE1) / x8 (PCIE4);
With thanks, ASRock TSD

This doesn't answer my question at all. Are you saying if I use any NVME at all in my THOUSAND DOLLAR motherboard my graphics card goes into 8X speed?

Dear Entram,
Thanks for the reply.
NVMe M.2 will not affect the lanes of the PCIe slots.
The information above is just a reference that if there are two PCIe cards plugged to the PCIe slots, the graphics card will run at x8.
With thanks, ASRock TSD
