I updated my X370 Gaming K4 motherboard to BIOS 6.00, from 5.80, since it supposedly had some RAM timing and CPU support improvements. I then ran Cinebench R20, to see if performance had changed, and my system rebooted partway through the test. I tried it again with the same result. I flashed the motherboard back to BIOS version 5.80, and all is well.

This new BIOS version updated AGESA to 1.0.0.6. I don't know if the AGESA code is to blame for the problem, or if it's something else in this new BIOS.

Has anyone else experienced problems with any of the new BIOS versions that include AGESA 1.0.0.6?

your agesa is the PI1006 not the earlier 1006

and yes it should have bought some help for ram etc
i also updated to the PI 1006 version for my taichi which is version 6.4

for myself it has bought quite a lot of improvements for the 3rd gen ryzen boost 4550 mhz vs at best 4450 before

and yes i can confirm for myself its stable bios and runs my ram at 3600 etc

may i ask do you have a ryzen 3000 series ?
as it might be if your using a 1000 or 2000 its buggy for cpus not intended to use the later bios versions
