When I shut down and then turn the pc back on, the monitor displays a "no signal" message and then a message saying "Monitor going to sleep mode". Then it goes dark.

The system has been working fine. The peculiar thing is that if I wait awhile, could be hours or overnight, the monitor displays everything normally and programs can be run as always.

The only notable event that occurred was installing Nero DVD Burner software. I have been able to uninstall this software.

Here is my configuration:
Tower: Corsair 750D High Airflow Intake Tower Case
MB: ASRock Extreme 3 Z87 system board
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K Processor 3.5GHz
Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H110 CPU Cooler
RAM: 16GB DDR3-1600 RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660Ti AMP PCIe graphics card w/2GB discrete DDR5 video memory.
PSU: Corsair RM1000 PS 1000W
SSD: 120GB Solid State Drive (C:\ Boot Drive)
HD: 2TB 7,200RPM Hard Drive (E:\)
1TB 7,200RPM Hard Drive (F:\)
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (64-bit)

Any thoughts appreciated...

1. Re-seat your video card
2. If you switch cables and configure to Onboard Video in the BIOS does it work as it should?

Thank you for your reply...

I did re-seat the video card; and
I switched cables and I substituted another monitor.
No change.

I was unable to try using the on board video card because I can't get to the BIOS.

I fear I'm confused when you replied with "I switched cable".

Did you set the BIOS to use the 4770K's internal iGPU instead of the 660Ti?

Posting over each other :P

Clearing the BIOS should get you able to run off the iGPU to test. But remove the 660Ti beforehand so it doesn't fall back to using it instead of the iGPU

I have not been able to boot to the setup to change the bios settings.
When the PC resumes (at unpredictable times), I suddenly see the normal windows screen.
Is there some way to do this that I'm not familiar with?
