Thanks for any hints

I assume you mean the boot order is not saved after you set it as needed, not simply cleared once due to the update to version 2.60?

Your post is the first I've seen about this, but version 2.60 was released just recently.

Does the UEFI/BIOS have a Boot Manager option?

Did you notice any new options in the 2.60 UEFI that might be related to your situation?

Does the boot order set itself to the same drive that is not the OS drive?

Did you add any drives to the PC recently? Do you have any drives that have a clone of the main OS drive, or a backup that might be causing the confusion?

Thanks for the fast answer,
yes the boot order is not saved after changing it not just once after the update.
I just did a cmos reset and even removed the battery just to be sure, double checked all bios settings and there have been no hardware changes before and after  the bios update.
The only settings which are not saved is the "Hard Drive BBS Priorities" it just falls back to the default order.

Got the same problem with my FM2A88X-ITX+ after updating to the latest BIOS (3.20). Also tried clearing CMOS etc. but no luck. Really annoying since it is a server without screen and keyboard, so manually selecting the disk at boot time is not an option.

Thanks for the BIOS update, all seems to be fine now :-)
