this is just insane....
5GHz with a good old air cooler and a pair of Panram DDR4 Ninja-V DDR4-3866 memory, and of course on a Z170 OC Formula, the king of overclocking.
Epic!!

This should be an example of Sky OC in action.

Note the OC parameters:

Multiplier of 33, the standard base clock of the Pentium G4400 being 3.3GHz, or 33 x 100MHz BCLK. No Turbo or unlocked multiplier for this processor.

For this OC, BCLK is 151.59MHz, so 33 x 151.59 = 5002.4MHz.

Intel's suggested price for the Pentium G4400 is $64.

Otherwise, I have no idea why the picture includes "i5-6600 @ 5002.37 MHz", which is a different processor.

5ghz on air is an achievement under any circumstances but 5ghz on air with a locked CPU is fantastic!

Sky OC and its equivalents are finally allowing for the kind of overclocking we haven't seen since socket 478 and to a lesser degree socket 775 days on intel platforms. Skylake seemed a little weak out the gate when it hit the market but with BCLK overclocking I can see Skylake dominating the market for a while to come.

The i5 6600 mentioned in the pic is a known bug when submitting validations on overclocked Skylake non-K systems. I have seen it mentioned in a few reviews.
