I have a 970 Extreme4 Mobo and fitted 4 x 8Gb identical 1866MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM (Kit of 2) HyperX Fury White Series

The PC (Win7 Ultimate) will boot with either pair of chips in white or blue slots, but not with both pairs in all 4 slots!

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Oops. Sorry for the late reply. I somehow missed your post.

Do you still need help or you get it sorted?

Either more CPU/NB voltage, or the two 16GB(8GBx2) kits you have(had?) had differering SPD profiles programmed on them.

Just to add to wardog's advice, if you're trying to run those modules @ 1866 MHz, then it's an overclock no matter what AMD CPU you have. This is why you might need more CPU-NB voltage (note: not the same thing as NB voltage). Depending on your CPU and the type of memory modules you have, it might be a mild OC or a big OC. If it's mild, you shouldn't need to do much to get it stable, if it's a big OC, you might be better off setting your RAM to run on a lower clock speed. The effect of performance will be negligible in normal use and you may also be able to tighten the timings a bit to compensate for the lost MHz.
