Hello, I also bought a B550 Steel Lgend and would like to use a Ryzen 5000 CPU. The sticker on the BIOS chip says that only AGESA 1.0.0.2 is currently installed here. Will I be able to boot the PC to at least get into the BIOS to update the BIOS? Unfortunately I don't have a Ryzen 3000 CPU to do this before. Regards Jointy |

That´s correct. So the mainboard wont start if i use it with a Ryzen 5000? No chance to update the Bios, right? |

options are get the retailer to update bios for you (you could mention its their fault for shipping out such a board thats been sat on their shelf for so long) get local pc shop to update bios for you contact AMD for a 'loaner' cpu boot kit free of charge but it takes some time or decide you really really want a ryzen2000/3000 cpu from amazon ......
